Cyber Christmas Day 3!๐ŸŽ„ – Northern Rights

Today, we’re spotlighting Graeme Stewart, IT Lead at Northern Rights Social Enterprise Ltd, and their chosen charity Emmaus UK.

Northern Rights, based in the North-East, is a social enterprise dedicated to transforming lives by supporting disadvantaged individuals from diverse backgrounds in finding sustainable employment. Their passion and commitment to making a difference was obvious during our visit, we’re lucky to have teams like Northern Rights in the region.

Graeme works closely with us at ITC Service to ensure their technology supports their mission seamlessly. Northern Rights has adopted a comprehensive Cyber Security suite, including email filtering, human risk management and education, and even achieving Cyber Essentials Plus certification. This collaboration highlights how an internal IT lead and an outsourced, dedicated IT team can achieve outstanding results together.

For their chosen charity, Northern Rights selected EMMAUS NORTH EAST, an organisation dedicated to combating homelessness and social exclusion. Our visit to Emmaus was nothing short of inspiring. Itโ€™s clear this wonโ€™t be the last time we look to support and collaborate with such an impactful cause.

Thank you to Graeme and Emmaus for being involved in this project.

Throughout December, our focus remains on making the region more secure. Did you know that phishing attempts rise by as much as 400% during the holiday season? Falling victim to a cyber attack is something no one should experience, especially at this time of year. Check out our Cyber Christmas page here: https://hubs.ly/Q02-jYCx0
