Roles and Responsibilities of an ITC Sales Executive

  1. Understand the Prospects and Existing Clients
    • Develop a deep understanding of the needs of potential and existing clients
    • Seek to build positive relationships with leads to increase sales.
    • Be an advocate for ITC service, presenting and selling products and services.
  2. Proactive Prospecting
    • Actively promote ITC’s services and solutions, spreading awareness of its offerings.
    • Utilise tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn, and other platforms to record communications and maintain contact with potential and existing clients.
    • Build meaningful relationships with prospects, fostering trust and uncovering new opportunities.
    • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  3. Follow-up and Pipeline Management
    • Implement and execute follow-up strategies to keep leads engaged throughout the sales cycle.
    • Maintain an organised sales pipeline in CRM tools, ensuring no lead is overlooked.
    • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within a timescale.
    • Provide feedback on prospect interactions to improve ITC’s sales and marketing strategies.
  4. Stay Current
    • Keep up to date with ITC’s latest products, services, and industry trends to deliver informed and compelling messaging.
    • Continuously develop knowledge and skills relevant to IT services, including all managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, connectivity and hosted voice etc.
    • Analyse the market’s potential, track sales and status reports
    • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
  5. Collaborate with the Team
    • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
    • Work closely with BDR’s and Marketing to align messaging, and ensure smooth lead handoffs.
    • Provide insights and suggestions to enhance the team’s strategies and support innovation.
    • Attend regular team meetings prepared with ideas and updates.
  6. Engage in Social Selling and Networking
    • Leverage LinkedIn and other professional networks to establish ITC as a thought leader and connect with key decision-makers.
    • Represent ITC at events, webinars, and trade shows to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
  7. Use Tools Effectively
    • Fully utilise ITC’s tools, such as Microsoft 365, HubSpot, and LinkedIn, to manage potential and existing clients
    • Create accurate quotations for potential clients using knowledge of our products, services and the needs of the client.
    • Track sales performance metrics, such GP, One Time and Recurring Revenue in order to adapt and refine strategies.
  8. Maintain Communication
    • Engage regularly with prospects and clients to address concerns, provide value, maintain and build trust.
    • Educate and support our clients with information and assistance related to products/services
    • Discuss pricing confidently
    • Continuously improve through feedback.
  9. Achieve and Exceed KPIs
    • Collaborate with management to set and align Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Work closely with the BDRs and Marketing team to meet and exceed agreed targets.
